This shoot is a masterclass in styling up your vintage wedding dress with modern and vintage bridal wear pieces like veils, flower crowns, hats, headpieces, gloves and lots of jewels.
We firmly believe that vintage wedding dresses can be styled with vintage or modern bridal wear accessories, just as modern wedding dresses can very easily be styled with vintage accessories. And we also believe in era mashing too, i.e. you don’t have to stick to one era when you’re styling your bridal look. You can create fantastic bridal looks by wearing pieces from different eras together. It’s all about wearing what you love and what makes you feel fantastic!
The images from this shoot demonstrate these principles so well. For example, a modern veil and headpiece, and 1950s jewellery has been styled with our 1940s lace wedding dress to create a very Art Deco style look. Our 1980s wedding dress has been styled with 1920s & 1930s waxy crowns a mix of modern and vintage jewellery and 1940s gloves to create another deco inspired bridal look, and our 1990s & 1970s dresses have been styled with modern, bohemian inspired flower crowns, And or beautiful blush 1930s wedding dress has been paired with a peach 1960s hat
