Step on over to the dark side with the dark and moody style of this alternative bridal shoot. Shot in the derelict surroundings of St. Peters Seminary in Cardross, Scotland, the atmospheric location and alternative styling of these wedding dresses work perfectly together to create a modern, gothic twist on vintage bridal looks.
This shoot again shows how vintage wedding dresses don’t have to be worn or styled as they would have been in the eras they originated from. They’re blank canvases to be styled and worn as creatively as modern day brides want them to be so that they are unique to them.
These dresses were styled with a 1970s black sequin jacket & a black suede tassel sleeve jacket from our sister store Those Were The Days Vintage, which is right next door to our vintage bridal boutique in Stockbridge, Edinburgh, Scotland.
